New England Camera Club Council (NECCC)
Regional organization of individual members and clubs to promote photography in our area. Annual Conference held mid-July at the University of Mass. at Amherst, which presents numerous speakers on various topics, as well as photo showcases and opportunities to shoot models and still lifes. http://www.neccc.org/
Connecticut Association of Photographers (CAP)
Members belong to local Connecticut camera clubs. Formed to promote photography in Connecticut through field trips and social events.
Greater Bridgeport Camera Club (GBCC)
Meets in Stratford, CT the 1st & 3rd Wed. of the month from September through May.
Huntington Photographic Society (HPS)
Meets in Huntington, CT, the 1st Monday of the month Jan.-June and Aug.-Nov.
Photographic Society of America (PSA)
"PSA is a worldwide interactive organization for anyone interested in photography, be they casual, serious amateurs or professional photographers. Individual, Camera Club, Chapter and Council members are offered a wide variety of activities: a monthly magazine, photo and digital competitions, study groups via mail and the internet, how-to programs, an annual conference and a raft of other activities and services."
