Product Terms of Use
Digital Products
By purchasing any digital product from Meredith Images you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
All textures, overlays, gradients, borders, shapes, brushes, webinar notes, courses including their notes and videos, or any other product purchased and/or downloaded from Meredith Images are copyrighted by Hazel Meredith, Meredith Images.
This license extends to the original purchaser only and cannot be sublicensed, resold, transferred or redistributed.
The items purchased cannot be resold, shared, loaned or redistributed on their own or used in a product offered for sale where the item can be extracted. These items cannot be used to create derivative digital textures, brushes, or other products you offer for sale. You may not redistribute or post them to the internet for any reason.
You are welcome to use this product in the creation of your art that you offer for sale, but the art must be offered as a flattened image where the items cannot be extracted.
All of the products have been created or finished in Adobe Photoshop CC. They are high resolution (minimum 300 dpi for most products). They are compatible with Photoshop CS2 and above and Elements 9 and above, as well as most other post-processing software that allows the use of layers. I cannot guarantee compatibility with future versions of software as I do not control the software.
FILE DELIVERY FORMAT: Digital products are sent to you via zip files. This is the most common file type for large files. Most computers come standard with the feature to unzip a file, otherwise you can download the free version of WinZip or Google for free zip file openers.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You are responsible for downloading your products promptly, and making your own backups of your resources for future use. I cannot guarantee that you will be able to get download links at a later time.
Digital Courses
Courses are accessed through your account on Meredith Images. You need to log in and click on “My Courses”. You will see your purchased courses there. If you have purchased a course and do not see it in your account afterwards, please email me. It sometimes takes a few minutes to populate, and occasionally, systems do not talk to one another! I will answer all inquiries asap.
Digital courses include online access as well as the ability to download videos, notes, and other materials. You have lifetime access to your courses (meaning the lifetime of this website and business). Videos are hosted on Vimeo and can be downloaded from there. If you have an issue with playing the videos, try a different browser (I use Google Chrome with no issues).
Your purchase of a digital course give you personal use only. You may not share the downloaded information, nor share your login information with anyone else. You may not post or share any part of the course or video publicly or online in any manner. The content and materials of all courses remain the property of, and are copyrighted by, Hazel Meredith of Meredith Images.
Be sure that you have high-speed internet access in order to view the videos, and download materials.
Note: We are not responsible for any interruptions due to issues with the website hosting, video hosting platform, your internet provider, or other technical issues. If you notify me of an issue and things are working fine on my end, I suggest restarting your computer, switching browsers and/or clear out your browser cache and try again. No refunds will be made.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. There will be no refunds for any product after purchase/download, or any course after purchase. No exceptions. Please check your records for past purchases before you order to avoid duplication. I cannot provide a list of previous purchases for you.
If you have any issues with not receiving the receipt with links, first check your spam/promotions folders. Some email providers send any email with a link to spam. DO NOT file a payment dispute with your credit card or payment processor. Send me a courtesy email with the issue you are having and I will assist you. If you file a dispute, you will forfeit your right to use my site, your access to any purchases, and your account will be deleted. I am always overly generous with assisting my customers, and trying to dispute your downloaded purchases is considered theft.
If you have any questions, please email me at Hazel@MeredithImages.com.
Event Policies & Info
Below we answer all your questions about attending a photography workshop or conference. Should you have a question that is not answered on this page, feel free to contact me at hazel@meredithimages.com.
Our photography workshops and seminars are designed to provide you as much information as possible to assist you in your photographic journey and improve your skills with your camera and with post-processing.
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP FAQ
“What skill level is required for workshops?” We welcome all levels of photographers to our workshops and seminars, however, if you have questions regarding your personal level and if the event is a “good fit”, feel free to contact me at hazel@meredithimages.com prior to registration.
“Does it matter what type of camera I have?” Not really. While most of our attendees have digital SLR’s, point and shoots and even smart phones are welcome. Our goal is to help you get the best results possible. If you are not comfortable with changing settings on your camera, it is always wise to bring the camera manual with you since every camera’s settings are slightly different and I am not familiar with every camera brand.
“How many people are in your photography workshops?” This varies depending on the type of event, but the general maximums are 6-8 for travel workshops and 8-12 for half/full day workshops (depending on space/location). Our Barns & Back Roads Workshops are limited to 3 people per session due to parking limitations (car-pooling mandatory for this event). Hands-on computer workshops are 8-24 depending on location space.
“How soon should I sign up for an event?” Spaces are on a first-come, first-paid basis, so you should sign up as soon as you know you want to attend an event. We cannot hold spaces without payment. Should a workshop become full, please email me to be placed on a waiting list.
“How do I register for an event?” All registrations are processed through our website in the “Peacock Studio”. Some travel workshops will have the option to pay a deposit with the balance due by a set date; shorter events need to be paid in full at time of registration. You can use a credit or debit card through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account).
“What happens if it rains?” We cannot predict what Mother Nature will do, but we will try to rearrange the itinerary to accommodate the weather. There are no refunds due to weather unless we cancel the entire workshop (see below regarding trip insurance).
“Are meals, accommodations, etc., included in the workshop?” Some of our travel workshops include a welcome dinner and admission to various locations. Accommodations and travel are not included (unless otherwise specified). Please read the details for the particular event to see what is included.
Please note – ALL attendees to a photography workshop or seminar are required to sign a waiver form. There are some locations that may also require a location release. Meredith Images has full business insurance coverage.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
TRAVEL WORKSHOPS (Multi-Day)
Some Workshops require a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. This means that the deposit amount paid is non-refundable for any cancellation reason at any point in time.
Refunds of other monies paid after the non-refundable deposit will be given if cancellation is made prior to 90 days before the workshop/tour start date minus a processing fee of $250 on workshops with a total cost of over $1000, or a $150 fee on workshops with a total cost under $1,000. No refunds will be given if cancellation is made less than 90 days prior to the start of the workshop unless we can fill your spot (minus any non-refundable deposit and processing fee).
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TRIP INSURANCE to protect you from an unexpected emergency that prevents you from attending the workshop. We also encourage participants to purchase refundable airline tickets. We reserve the right to cancel any photography workshops if our minimum enrollment is not met. In the event we cancel a workshop, participants will receive a full refund or funds may be used towards a future event (to be used within one year of the original event date). We are not, however, liable for expenses incurred such as airfare or accommodations, thus the reason we recommend the purchase of trip insurance.
HALF DAY/FULL DAY WORKSHOPS
There are no refunds on single day workshops. You may transfer your registration to another person for a $50 processing fee or receive a credit for a future event (to be used within one year of original event date). Should Meredith Images need to cancel an event you will receive a full refund.
VIRTUAL CONFERENCES/SUMMITS
As these are online events with access to recordings for 60 days after the event, there are no refunds allowed on virtual events.
