Photography Workshops on Location

Sedona, Arizona, Workshop
November 26-29, 2022

Join us in beautiful Sedona, AZ, for  a small group (max 6) workshop – SOLD OUT!
including photographing in the field and post-processing.

This workshop has something for everyone! From the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, to wildlife, some old rusty trucks and machinery, and unique architecture, you’re sure to find that special image! We’ll spend some time in the evenings editing the days’ captures, with instruction on Lightroom, Photoshop, Textures, Topaz, Skylum – whatever the group requests.

We will start our adventure with dinner on Saturday night, reviewing our plans and getting to know each other. On Sunday we’ll head to a bit of Africa in the Southwest at “Out of Africa Wildlife Park”. You will photograph lions, tigers, wolves, giraffes, zebras, sable antelope, and more. They have great photo access to the big cats with no fences to shoot through! Sunday is also one of the “feeding days” for the big cats!

Monday and Tuesday we will explore the beauty of Sedona and the surrounding towns including Jerome where we’ll visit the Gold King Mine/Ghost Town for lots of rusty trucks, cars, machinery, old buildings and an operating saw mill. Sedona offers some of the most beautiful scenery ever! We will visit some of the iconic Sedona vistas including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Red Rock Loop road and Cathedral Rock. We’ll end with a sunset shoot at the Airport Overlook. Of course, itinerary is weather dependent!

Registration includes:
Complimentary Welcome Dinner; Admission to Out of Africa & Ghost Town;
water/snacks, photographic and post-processing instruction.
Does not include: transportation, parking, lodging or other meals.
